Series No.01 - Key Concept
Key concept of the series No.01 is to create distinctive silhouette of Form A and Form B by blending the inspirations mentioned below,
and to develop the transformation mechanism between these two forms without removing any parts.
Silhouette No.01, Version No.01 - Features
As this work represents the very first silhouette and version of Series No.01,
the artist sought for particular silhouettes that will blend well with the room interior as an art object.
Silhouettes of Form A and Form B are both formed by a number of beautifully curved smooth surfaces and the clean warm white color is selected as the theme color of this work for soft and relaxing effect.

The transformation mechanism became extremely complicated in order to achieve the full transformation between Form A and Form B without removing any parts.
Especially the transformation of the "shell-shaped" parts of Form A into the "petal-shaped" parts mounted in a radial layout on the back of Form B was the most challenging part of devising the whole mechanism.

Other Notes
All parts are made of beautifully finished, molded white resin and are
fully assembled without painting so there will be no worry about chipping
and scratching the coating material.
Also all movable joints are joined with screws which can be adjusted with
a screwdriver (especially when the joint becomes loose).
